Not therapy, not structured coaching. There's no workbook and no homework. You don't have to arrive with a goal or leave with an action plan.
You can talk about the person you lost. You can vent about everyone who said 'everything happens for a reason.' You can ask the questions you can't ask people who haven't been through it, or say the things that scare your family. We can also just sit there. That counts too.
I'm not a therapist and I won't pretend to be one. My brother Philip was murdered. I'm writing a book grief and his story, and I've spent years talking with grievers every single day. Sometimes lived experience is exactly the qualification you need. When it isn't, I'll say so and help you find someone licensed.
The details
Sessions are 60 minutes, on Zoom or by phone. I'll only hold a small number of spots each month so I can be fully present for each one. Pricing and booking details will be announced when sessions are open.
This isn't the right fit if
