About Brendan
and why I do this work...

I'm Brendan. I create content for those going through the hardest seasons.
After experiencing the profound loss of my brother, I found myself in a landscape I didn't recognize. The grief resources I encountered were either too clinical, stripped of humanity, or too overwhelming, drowning in platitudes and emotional overwhelm. I needed something in between. Something honest, practical, and calm. All ideally delivered by someone that has lived with this hurricane of emotions.
That's why you've found me. When you're grieving, it's like being lost at sea. Everything feels disorienting. You need a compass point, something steady to orient yourself by. The content I make, and the "Blue Dot" I talk about, is that reference point. Not a destination, not a cure, just a way to find your bearings.
I started creating content for myself. Small practices. Daily reminders. Ways to get through a single hour, then a day, then a week. Eventually, I began sharing with others who were also navigating their own hard seasons. What started as personal survival tools became social media accounts, a newsletter, courses, support, and an upcoming book.
What I Believe
- No timelines. Grief doesn't follow a schedule. You move at your own pace.
- Practical over theoretical. Tools you can use today matter more than abstract concepts.
- Honest language. No platitudes. No toxic positivity. Just real talk about hard things.
- Permission to struggle. Some days surviving is enough. That's okay.
